We’re a small, energetic team of young professionals serving Western North Carolina with one simple mission: take the stress and stigma out of lice checks. From schools to camps to community organizations, we provide on-site screenings and treatments that are efficient, effective, and — believe it or not — not awful.

HeadsUpAVL is managed by Natasha Meduri, a West Asheville-based organizer with over six years of hands-on experience in mobile lice screening and treatment services. Natasha originally joined the team in 2018, managing logistics, team training, and scheduling for seasonal screenings across childcare programs in Western North Carolina. In 2023, she took over full ownership of the operation, transitioning it into a fully independent service known for its calm, kid-friendly approach and high hygiene standards.

Natasha’s background spans event production, mobile arts coordination, and backstage hospitality — all of which contribute to her ability to lead with clarity, adaptability, and care. From supply chains to sensitive parent communication, she brings a detail-driven mindset to every scan and treatment session. Her leadership ensures that HeadsUpAVL stays not only efficient but deeply community-oriented.
